Message I know this is a broad topic since best performing and low in cost don't always go hand in hand. I don't track, but would like a great performing tire since I do like spirited drives and ONLY drive the car in dry weather.
If I could stay under $1000 that would be great. The Vredestein's so far are VERY appealing and at about $800 at my door, that's a great price.

The reason I was looking for an '08 list of best tires is they've already narrowed down the top rated and put them head to head.

Thanks for any input you may have.
